When you create a new job, you have the option to choose between an open or concealed search that you want your vendors partners to perform.

By default, open search is selected. For the open search positions, your vendor partners are allowed to use public media channels to search for candidates. This has the advantage that vendors can post the position for example on job portals, which can be helpful for filling the position faster.

For the concealed search, your vendor partners are not allowed to publish any details of the posted position on any other media channels. This can be useful to avoid that competitors might draw conclusions about corporate strategies. Another reason could be that your company is planning to replace an internal employee and doesn't want to get the word out that there is a public job listing for that position.
