How do I upload documents for verification?

This article shows you how to upload your documents for verification and become a verified vendor on Gustav.

To ensure compliance standards and a certain quality of marketplace participants we ask vendors to provide us with a set of documents to become a verified vendor on Gustav.

Following documents are required:

  1. Certificate of insurance (COI)

  2. W-9

  3. Business registration (example: Articles of incorporation, Certificate of incorporation, Corporation charter)

If you wish to become a verified vendor and upload your documents for verification, please follow the steps below.

  1. Sign into your Gustav account. Forgot your password? Here is how to reset your password.

  2. Click on your profile picture or initials which appear on the bottom-left corner of the page.

  3. Select Settings.

  4. Click on the Document Verification tab.

Step 1: Drag and drop your documents or choose files from your document library. Repeat the process for all 3 documents types (COI, W-9, business registration).

Certificate of Insurance (COI)

After you have selected the certificate of insurance file, please enter the expiration date as well as the insurance amount (you can use the umbrella amount) and press the "Upload" button.

W-9

After you have selected the W-9 file, please press the "Upload" button.

Business registration

After you have selected the business registration file, please press the "Upload" button.

Step 2: You have successfully uploaded all 3 document types for verification. Now all documents will appear as pending under the "Document Verification" tab, as displayed on the screenshot below:


​Step 3: ?Congratulations your documents have been verified. You are now officially a verified vendor on Gustav. ?

You can always track your document status under the "Document Verification" tab. If all documents are verified and positive the document status will change from pending to verified, as displayed on the screenshot below:

As a verified vendor you will receive a green checkmark next to your company name on your public company profile. This way everyone in the Gustav network will be able to recognize your status:
